Wednesday, May 12, 2021          Publish NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING (5 - 30 days before the meeting)

                                                     Post NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING on the district website (www.ccsd.k12.or.us) (at least 10 days before the meeting)

Wednesday, May 26, 2021          First Budget Committee Meeting.  Elect chairperson and vice chairperson.  Budget document to be presented by budget officer. Public comment taken at this meeting. Announce time and place of next  meeting, if needed.

Monday, May 31, 2021                Target date for approval of budget by Budget Committee.

Wednesday, June 2, 2021          Publish FORM ED-1, NOTICE OF BUDGET HEARING and financial summary (not less than 5 days  and not more than 30 days before the hearing)

Wednesday, June 16, 2021         Public Hearing on the budget as approved by the Budget Committee.

    Following the budget hearing on this date, the board shall enact resolutions to adopt the budget and to make the appropriations, and to declare the tax levy or the anticipated tax levy.            

Thursday, July 15, 2020              Last date to certify tax levy or request an extension.
