School Board Vacancy

Due to a recent resignation, there is one vacant position on the school board. If you are interested in serving on the CCSD#1 School Board, please send a letter of interest to:

In this letter, please answer the following three questions:

1. What experience do you have serving on boards or committees?

2. How do you see yourself helping the children of Central Curry SD as a board member?

3. What do you see as the best thing about Central Curry SD?

All letters of interest will be accepted until August 12, 2015. The new board member will be appointed at the August 19, 2015 regular school board meeting. If anyone has any questions concerning the duties and requirements of being a school board member, please contact Superintendent Roy Durfee at 541-247-2003 ext. 229.

The Strategic Plan Committee (consisting of parents, teachers, administration, local business owners and a student) has been working for several months on creating a list of objectives to help guide the school district over the next 5 years.
